TITUS, under Vespasian as Caesar, (A.D. 69-79), AE dupondius, struck at Rome Mint for Antioch, issued A.D. 74, (15.01 g), obv. laureate head of Titus to left, around T CAESAR IMP PONT, rev. around TR POT COS III CENSOR, winged caduceus between crossed cornucopiae, (cf.S.2472, RIC 762, RPC II 1991). Attractive deep grey patina, very fine and scarce.
