VESPASIAN, (69-79 A.D.), silver denarius, Rome Mint, issued 73 A.D., (3.27 g), obv. laureate head of Vespasian to right around IMP CAES VESP AVG CENS outwards, rev. PONTIF MAXIM outwards, winged Pax-Nemesis advancing to right, drawing out fold of drapery from neck and holding caduceus, snake at feet, (S.2304, RSC 385, BMC 97, RIC 64). Nearly very fine/fine, rare.
