NERO, (A.D. 54-68), AE sestertius issued c.66, Rome mint, (23.10 g), obv. laureate head to right of Nero, around IMP NERO CLAVD CAESAR AVG GER P M TR P P P, rev. Roma seated left on cuirass, holding Victory and parazonium, ROMA in exergue, [S C] across field, (cf.S.1961, RIC 333). With some hoard patina and surface pitting, flan crack, portrait good fine otherwise fine, scarce.
