TIBERIUS, (A.D. 14-37), silver denarius, Lugdunum mint, issued A.D. 14-37, (3.59 g), obv. laureate head of Tiberius to right, around [TI CAESAR DIVI AVG F] AVGVSTVS, rev. PONTIF MAXIM, Livia (as Pax) seated to right on chair with ornate legs, holding vertical sceptre and branch, line below, (S.1763, RIC 26, BMC 48, RSC 16). Toned, struck slightly off centre on obverse, very porous near edges, weak in places fine/very fine.
