Apollo laureate head to left, arrow upwards symbol behind, rev. naked horseman galloping to left holding palm, C.PISO FRVGI, uncertain below, (S.348, Cr.408/1, RSC Calpurnia 24ff); C. Naevius Balbus, (c.79 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, serrated edge (4.27 g), obv. Venus diademed head right, S.C. behind, rev. Victory in triga to right, CCXII number above, barbarous version of C.NAE BALB in exergue, (S.309, Cr.382/1b, Syd. 769b, B.Naevia 6). Toned, nearly very fine, scarce. (2)
