Ajax son of Oileus, advancing right, with sword and shield decorated with a serpent and sea horses, kantharos between legs, around **OPONTIWN*, (S.2330, BCD 99 [NAC Auction 55], de Luynes 1958, cf. SNG Lockett 1700) (illustrated); AE of Alexander the Great (S.6739) [2]; Phrygia, Apameia, (after 133 B.C.), AE 20, (7.39, 8.43 g), obv. helmeted bust of Athena to right, rev. eagle alighting upon meander pattern between caps of the dioscuri and stars, **APAMEWN above, magistrates names below, (cf.S.5120); Pontos, Amisos, (3), (S.3642, 3643 [3]); Augustus Macedonia, Philippi, obv. Victory standing left on base, holding wreath and palm frond, VIC AVG, rev. three military standards; (COHOR) PRAE, (SNG ANS 674 [time of Augustus]); these next three from Baldwin's with tickets: Sicily, Mamertini, AE 26 (BMC 39); Egypt, Ptolemy VI, AE 19 (S.7901); Ionia, Ephesus, Severus Alexander AE 22, (cf.BMC 312); Troas, Alexandria, Valerian, rev.
