ANCIENT GREEK COINS, Sicily or nearby areas in copper, includes AE of Agyrium (S.1045); Akragas, hexas (S.1024); Carthage various (4) AE 17-29; Alaesa AE 19 (S.1048); Croton, (S.655); Cyrenaica (S.2922); Gela, (420-405 B.C.), AE onkia, 13mm, (1.58 g), obv. head of river god right, rev. bull standing left, **P* above, pellet in exergue, (S.1096, CNS 13; SNG ANS 111) (Ex CNG 130/133) (illustrated); Himera, AE hemilitron, (cf.S.1108), another (S.1110), another, hexas (420-410 B.C.), 14mm, (1.29 g), obv. Pan as a youth, holding thyrsos over his shoulder and blowing on a conch shell, seated on goat walking right, rev. Nike flying left, holding aphlaston and seam of her gown; two pellets before, (S.-, cf.CNS I 34, SNG ANS -), Ex CNG 129/36) (illustrated); Messana, AE 20 (S.1132); Mamertini, AE pentonkion, (after 210 B.C.), (S.1144). Very good (one corroded) - nearly extremely fine, an interesting group. (15)
