EGYPT, a range of small AE 17-21, of rulers from Ptolemy I - Ptolemy IX, mostly with eagle reverse, obverses with portraits of Alexander the Great to Ptolemy IX, Ptolemy I (S.7766, Sv.238); Ptolemy II (S.7814, Sv.965); another (Sv.970, SNG Cop.185); Arsinoe II, Ephesos mint, rev. stag, (SNG Cop.259); Berenike II, (S.1722, Sv.1055, SNG Cop.460); Ptolemy IV, (Sv.1170); Ptolemy V, (S.7883, SNG Cop.1236); Ptolemy VIII, (Sv.1651, SNG Cop. 655-7); Ptolemy IX, rev. double cornucopiae (S.7930, Sv.1718, SNG Cop.678) (illustrated). Mostly fine a few better, all in descriptive flips, last with earthen patina. (9)
