CILICIA, Kelenderis, (c.430-420 B.C.), silver third stater or tetrobol, 12mm, (3.43 g), obv. nude youth, holding whip, dismounting from horse rearing left, rev. goat kneeling left, head right, above KE**L* (S.5530 [£450], Casabonne type 2; SNG France 58: SNG Levante -). Bright, good very fine slightly porous and very rare.

Ex CNG eSale 311, September 25, 2013 (lot 802) coming from the Daniel Koppersmith Collection and from CNG eSale 249, 9 February 2011, (lot 159) where it realised $475US, (with tickets).
