LEMPRIERE, Weavell & Co., Elizabeth Street, Hobart Town, currency note for four Spanish dollars, March 25 1823 (182 printed) No.D31, hand signed Lempriere Weavell & Co. One of only two known examples, good very fine and extremely rare.

Of all the Lempriere notes this is the rarest, issued during March and April 1823, while Weavell was an active partner, signed 'Lempriere Weavell & Co', all other types are signed 'Lempriere & Co'.
