GREAT BRITAIN, Bank of England, one pound, London, 27 June 1816, pay to Mr. Henry Hase, No 17623, signed A. Jackson (P.190; Duggleby B201b). Ragged edges, five holes, fair and rare.

Accompanied by a card as lot 236 in an auction on Belgian Day 14th May 1915 and of the National Belgium Relief Fund.
Presented by J. Charlesworth Exchange Banking Card has "Daily Weather Report/Mount Kosciuszko". Handwriting appears to be by Jim Tyrrell, especially the pencilled "Reserve £20", lot label is that used by Lawson's at the time.
