6/2674 Pte John Ferdinand Jolly, shoemaker, born 29Jun1872; Emb.14Aug1915 from Wellington, NZ with 6Rfts Canterbury Regt, NZEF; Infected with serious disease of paratyphoid on active service at Gallipoli; RTNZ 11Feb1916; Disch.19Aug1916 Medically Unfit; Died of sickness 20Jun1918 at Westport, NZ as a result of war service and Memorial Plaque issued to his wife.
