Stanley James Bindley, labourer, age 28, born at Thalgarrah, Armidale, NSW; Enl.27Sep1915 at Armidale, NSW in 13Rfts 1LHR, with 10 years service in 6LHR & 5LHR, still serving; Emb.20Dec1915; TOS 1LHR 01Mar1916; TOS 5Div Ammunition Column and mustered as Gunner 21Apr1916; to Farrier Sgt 16May1916; to France 18Jun1916; to Btn Sgt Major (WO II) 15Nov1916 in France; sick with trench fever 20Oct1917 and trf to England; attch'd to Perm cadre of R.B.A.A. in England 13Mar1918; trf to 5DAC 08Oct1918; Temp WOI 13Mar1919; brought to the notice of the Secretary of State for War for valuable service rendered 13Jun1919; RTA 16Apr1920; Disch.24May1921 Medically Unfit (Chronic Dyspepsia).
