ITALY, Kingdom of Sicily, Roger II, (1130-1154), gold tari 13mm, (1.33 g), Palermo mint, struck c.1140-1152, obv. two concentric Arabic legends around central pellet within beaded circle, rev. IC - XC / NI - KA in two quadrants of Latin cross, (NKS 232; Spahr 69; Travaini 1995, 217; MIR 431). Nearly very fine, off centred on reverse, rare.
