ITALY, Kingdom of Sicily, Roger II, (1130-1154), gold tari 13mm, (0.90 g), Messina or Palermo(?) mint, struck c.1140, obv. legend around circle with central area two lines of text, rev. IC/XC over NI/KA in two lines across field flanking central cross cross; [mint and date in outer margin], (Spahr 60, MIR 431). Good fine and rare.
