INDIA, Mughal, Shah Alam II, (A.H. 1173-1221), (A.D.1759-1806), round gold mohur, (10.76 g), struck at Shahjahanabad Dar-ul-Khilafat (Delhi), mint, issued A.H. 1202 (A.D. 1787-8), Regnal year 29, obv. Shah Alam II name at top, full date on flan centre left, with Imperial umbrella (parasol) mintmark, rev. mint name at top, regnal year below, (KM.720, cf.BMC 1094, cf.Nagpur 1351, cf.Indian Museum Calcutta 2380). Good very fine, rare unpublished date and regnal year.
