INDIA, Islamic Sultanates, Dehli, Ghiyath al-Din Tughluq, (A.H. 720-725, A.D. 1320-1325), gold tanka, 25mm, (10.95 g), Hadrat Dehli mint, dated AH 724 (1324/5), obv. "al-sultan al-ghazi ghiyath al-dunya wa'l din abu'l muzaffar" in three lines across field, rev. "Tughluq shah al-sultan nasir amir al-mu'minin " in three lines across field; "Struck in Hadrat year four and twenty and seven" in outer margin, (G&G, 'Coins of the Indian Sultanates' D301). Good very fine and rare with clear AH date.
