ITALY, Sicily (as a kingdom), Ferdinand III of Borbone, (1759-1816), silver 12 Tari, 39mm, (26.97 g), Palerno mint, dated 1796 NdOV Nicola d'Ogremont Vigevi, mintmaster, obv. Armored bust right, around FERDINANDUS D G SICIL ET HIER REX, rev. eagle facing with wings spread, head left, HISPA - NIA - RUM - INFANS 1796, (Dav. 1424, KM.C36, MIR 603/1, Spahr 20). Toned, nearly very fine and very scarce.
