ESTABLISHMENT OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA, 1901, in silver (44mm) (C.1901/39), by W.J.Amor, Sydney, obverse, Captain Cook's bust left with anchor below and wreath around, reverse, half facing bust of Sir Henry Parkes, Father of Federation, edge stamped, 'Silver'. Nearly uncirculated and very scarce as only 60 issued in this metal.

A thicker planchet issue was struck in 1951 but it was believed to be silvered and not silver.
