THEODOSIUS I, (A.D. 379-395), silver siliqua, Trier mint, (1.53 g), obv. pearl-diademed bust of Theodosius to right, around DN THEODO SIVS PF AVG, rev. VIRTVS ROMANORVM around, Roma seated left on cuirass holding Victory and reversed spear, TRPS in exergue, (S.20456, RIC 94b, RSC 57a). Toned, flan crack, extremely fine and scarce.
