TIBERIUS, (A.D. 14-37), silver denarius, Lugdunum mint, issued A.D. 14-37, (3.78 g), obv. laureate head of Tiberius to right, around [TI CAESAR DIVI] AVG F AVGVSTVS, rev. PONTIF MAXIM, Livia (as Pax) seated to right on chair with ornate legs, holding vertical sceptre and branch, line below, (S.1763, RIC 26, BMC 48, RSC 16). Toned, struck slightly off centre on obverse, weak in places fine/very fine, traces of hoard patination.
