MICHAEL I AND THEOPHYLACTUS, (A.D.811-813), silver milliaresion, Constantinople mint, (2.2g), issued 811-813, obv. five lines of legend, within a triple circle of dots, MIXA/HL S **Q*EOFV/ LACTEECOS/ BASILIS RO/MAION, rev. cross potent on base with three steps, around IhSUS XRIS TUS NICA, (S.1616, BMC 2-3, DOC 3, T.4). Slightly irregular shaped flan, otherwise toned good very fine and scarce.
