BAKTRIA, Sophytes, (c.305-294 B.C.), silver diobol (1.15 g), local standard, obv. Helmeted head of Athena to right, rev. cock standing right, caduceus to left, to right **SWFUTOU*, (cf.S.6225, Bopearachchi, Sophytes, Series 4; SNG ANS 27, HGC 12, 16 [R2]). Good very fine with excellent metal for issue, very rare.
