SYRIA, Roman Province of Syria, after Seleucid kingdom of Philip Philadelphos, dated by Caesarean era, issued in 26-5 B.C., silver tetradrachm, (14.57 g), Antioch mint, obv. head of Philip to right, with diademed, fillet border, rev. Zeus seated to left, on throne holding Nike, ANT (Antioch) monogram to left, [K**D*] in exergue, legends left and right **[B]ASILEW[S] FILIPPOU EPIFANOUS [F]ILADELF[OU]*, (S.7215, cf.BMC 7, RPC 4140, Numismatic Chron. 1919, p.108 No.33, SNG Fitz. 5830). Toning, good fine.
