CHARLES CORNWALLIS, segment of a larger document (approx 10x8cm), signed by Cornwallis on the bottom right, accompanied by a print of Cornwallis (approx 12.5x19cm). Fine.

Charles Cornwallis, the 1st Marquis Cornwallis, was a leading British general in the American War of Independence. He famously surrendered to combined American and French forces in 1781.
