BERMUDA, Commissioned Officers' Mess, "Non-Member", $2.00 booklet of chits, No. C6360, includes intact 2 sheets of four 5c chits, two single 5c chits and one 25c; Canada, Officers Mess, H.M.C.S. Peregrine, ten cents. The first booklet missing securing staple at left edge so all pages and coupons are loose, cover and chits with foxing or stain, otherwise very fine, the last chit virtually uncirculated. (12 chits + booklet cover)
H.M.C.S. Peregrine is a shore establishment at Halifax and referred to by the naval cadets as 'Pretty Grim'.
