JULIAN II, (A.D. 360-363), silver siliqua, Lyon mint, (1.77 g), obv. pearl diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Julian to right, FL CL IVLI ANVS P F AVG around, rev. VOTIS / V / MVLTIS / X in wreath, LVG in exergue, (S.19130, RIC 218, RSC 163a). Flan crack from striking, attractively toned, extremely fine.

Ex Dr V.J.A. Flynn Collection. Previously Seaby, 5 May 1959 with ticket.
