MAXIMUS AS CAESAR, (A.D. 235-238), AE As, (9.00 g), issued 236-237, obv. MAXIMVS CAES GERM, bare headed draped bust to right of Maximus, rev. PIETAS AVG, Sacrificial implements, SC in exergue, (S.8413, RIC 12, cf.C.8, BMC 208). Attractive green patina, good very fine and very scarce.
