LUCIUS VERUS, (A.D. 161-169). AE Sestertius (32mm, 19.16 g). Struck 164 AD, obv. bare head right, L AVREL VERVS AVG ARMENIACVS, rev. Mars standing right, holding spear and shield set on ground, around TR P IIII IMP COS II, S C across, (S.5377, RIC III 1383 (Aurelius); C.227). Nearly very fine with a dark green patina, rare.
