MARCUS AURELIUS,(161-180), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 172, (2.89 g), obv. laureate head of Marcus Aurelius to right, around M ANTONINVS AVG TR P XXVI, rev. around IMP VI COS III, Roma seated to left holding Victory and spear, (S.4902, BMC 569, RIC 275, RSC 283). Toned, very high relief, extremely fine/good very fine and scarce.
