SYRIA, Kingdom of, Antiochus VII, (138-129 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (13.89 g), Phoenician standard, Tyre mint, issued year 180 = 133-2 B.C., obv. diademed head of Antiochus VII to right within dotted border, rev. eagle standing to left with leg of galley, palm branch in background in field to left a club with Tyre monogram above A/PE, to right **AS/PR* around **BASILEWS ANTIOCOU*, monogram between legs of the eagle, (S.7094, SNG Spaer 2063, SC 2109, HGC 9, 1074). Toned, traces of hoard patina, otherwise good very fine.
