SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria, Antiochia ad Orontem, (Antioch), Philip II, (A.D. 247-249), billon tetradrachm, (11.49 g), issued 249, obv. laureate draped cuirassed bust right of Philip II, around AVTOK K M IOV**LI FILIPPO*C CEB, rev. eagle facing open wings, head to left with wreath, around, **DHMARC EXOU*CIAC V**PATO D*, ANTIOXIA over S C in exergue, (S.4146, BMC 559, SNG Cop.269, Prieur 473). Silvered surface, nearly extremely fine and scarce.
