AUSTRALIA, VAD (Voluntary Aid Detachment) Maryborough badge, 1919, voided in enamel and silver (21x28.5mm), by Macleod, pin-back. Good very fine and rare.

Together with a photocopy of a card that accompanied the badge which stated that it was presented in 1919 as a token of appreciation of the invaluable services of the VAD in Maryborough during the Influenza epidemic.
