AUSTRIA, Order of Franz Josef, Officer's cross in gold and enamel, marked on the suspension ring is the maker's name, 'V.Mayers Sohne' and 'In Wien', also the Gemsenkopf hallmark for 18ct (tot wt with ribbon 15.85g); with a miniature of the Order of Franz Josef on a fob chain (19cm long) with alternating enamelled discs featuring a crown and the initials FJ, with safety chain, markings on end loop are the Gemsenkopf hallmark for 18ct and 'VM' (V.Mayers), (tot wt 7.55g), all in case of issue by 'V. Mayers Sohne, Wien' (V. Mayers and Son, Vienna). Uncirculated. (2)
