GERMANY, Oflag VII-A Prisoner of War officers camp located in Murnau, Bavaria, ten pfennig Number 35451 with red overstamp, housed over 1,000 Polish officers when opened in 1939, in 1942 many Polish generals were transferred to the camp which on liberation held over 5,000 men, (Campbell 3812). Extremely Fine.
