CARRIAGE CLOCK, vintage brass case, white dial with black Roman numerals and black hands, glass on all sides so workings visible, back cover is a hinged-lid for opening, back of works cover marked 'Made in France' and number 3746, at top is marked 'S' (slow) and 'F' (fast) with movable dial, key wind (key included), visible through the top glass cover is an indicator marked 'SR' (Slow/(French) Rallentissez) and 'FA' (Fast/(French) Accelerer), with carrying handle, with button on top and when pressed the clock repeats the last hour it struck. A bevelled glass panel missing from one side, all glass panels need cleaning on inside, working order unknown but chimes working, otherwise very fine.
