ROYAL HUMANE SOCIETY MEDAL, 1898, for successful rescue, in bronze (38mm) with scroll suspension and blue ribbon, inscribed around edge 'Francis Cox Feb 25 1898'. Scratches in right obverse field, otherwise good very fine.

Case 29360. Cox, Francis, Constable Water Police. On the 25th February 1898 at the entrance to Port Natal Harbour.
