HERACLIUS, (610-641), silver hexagram or double miliarense, Constantinople mint, issued 615-638, (6.53 g), obv. seated crowned figures of Heraclius and Heraclius Constantine, cross between, legend around, rev. Cross potent on three steps, K to right, around partial legend DEUS ADIUTA ROMANIS, (S.798, DOC 64, BMC 100-5, T.216-7, R.1390-2). Fine, weak in places, a scarce variety.
