PAIR: Golden Jubilee Medal 2002; Police Long Service and Good Conduct Medal (EIIR). The first unnamed as issued, Const Jayne Bassett on the second. The named medal pantographed. Both medals with brooch ribbon suspenders, in cases of issue, uncirculated.

Together with matching set of miniature medals; 2 copies of Certificate of Service issued by Ministry of Defence Police.

Jayne Bassett, born 03Sep1955; served in Ministry of Defence Police 15Jan1980 to 11Jun2004; left force with rank of Constable; Reason for leaving was Compulsory Early Severance; during her service her conduct was Exemplary.

The Ministry of Defence Police is a civilian special police force, part of the UK's Ministry of Defence. The forces prime responsibility is to provide armed security and to counter terrorism as well as uniformed policing to government sites and installations as well as limited investigative services relating to Ministry of Defence property and personnel.
