THRACE, Kingdom of, Lysimachos, (323-281 B.C.), silver drachm, (4.32 g), Uncertain mint, obv. diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon, rev. **BASILEWS LUSIMAXOU*, on right and left sides, Athena Nikephoros seated to left, her left arm resting on shield, transverse spear in background, **LO* monogram on throne, (cf.S.6817, Thompson -, Sunrise -, Muller -). Lightly toned, mild scrape at top of reverse, good very fine and an unlisted variety.

Ex Triton V, lot 1338 and previously Bankhaus Aufhauser Auktion 11 (1994), lot 31.
