EDWARD IV, (1461-1470), gold ryal, London Mint, Annulet issue, small trefoils in spandrels, issued 1464/5-1470, initial none/crown, rose on ship's side and centre of reverse, (7.73 g), (S.1950, N.1549). Attractive perfectly round with a good portrait, extremely fine and rare in this condition.

Ex Mark E. Freehill Collection, and previously from Spink & Son, London with its purchase from the La Riviere Collection, Spink Auction Sale 124 (lot 1722), previously from Glendining's London, 10th December 1992 (lot 440).
