UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, huge Cast Iron Bas-Relief Portrait Plaque of George Washington, (c.1858), by A.W.Jones sculptor, depicting the portrait bust of Washington facing left with elaborate hair, mounted in an oval surround and decorated with oak leaves and garlands in iron, (950mm high x 730mm wide), approx 35kg weight. Very fine and very rare.
