SEPTIMIUS SEVERUS, (A.D.193-211), silver denarius, (3.354 grams), issued 201, Rome mint, obv. laureate head right, around SEVERVS AVG PART MAX, rev. around RESTITVTOR VRBIS, Severus standing to left sacrificing over tripod, holding a spear, (S.6357, RIC 167a, RSC 599). Good very fine.
