TRAJAN, (A.D. 98-117), silver denarius, issued 105, Rome mint, (3.304 grams), obv. laureate bust to right of Trajan, drapery on left shoulder, around IMP TRAIANO AVG GERM DAC P M TR P COS V P P, rev. Pax standing to left, holding olive branch and cornucopiae and setting foot on Dacian captive, around S P Q R OPTIMO PRINCIPI, (S.3161, RIC 174, RSC 412a). Slightly off centred on the obverse, otherwise good very fine and scarce.
