PONTUS, Amasia, Septimius Severus, (A.D. 193-211), AE 30, issued A.D. 205-6, dated CY 208 of the era of Amasia, (18.46 g), obv. laureate bust of Lucius Verus to right draped and cuirassed, around AY KAI **L CEP CEOUHROC*, rev. Caracalla and Geta both togate and with scrolls, facing each other and clasping hands, around **ADR CEU ANT AMACIAC MHT NE PR*, date ET CH in exergue, (S.2155, BMC 6). Green toning, struck on a large flan, very fine and very scarce.
