TACITUS, (A.D. 275-276), billon antoninianus, Rome Mint, issued 276, (3.48 g), obv. radiate bust of Tacitus to right draped and cuirassed, around IMP C M C L TACITVS AVG, rev. around FIDES MILITVM, XXIS in exergue, Fides Militum standing left, holding standard in each hand, (cf.S.11780, RIC 87). Attractive dark toning, extremely fine.
