GORDIAN III, (A.D. 238-244), antoniniani Rome mint, issued 241-3, obv. radiate bust to right of Gordian III, around IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, rev. LAETITIA AVG N, Laetitia standing to l., holding wreath and anchor, (S.8617, RIC 86); another, issued 241-3, rev. VIRTVTI AVGVSTI, Hercules standing left, (S.8670, RIC 95), another issued 243-4, rev. FORT REDVX, Apollo seated left, (S.8612, RIC 143). Very fine - nearly extremely fine. (3)
