India, Ancient India, punched marked coinage, a hoard of Mauryan and other Empires, (400-100 B.C.), punch marked mostly square/rectangular shaped issues some round, silver karshapana, usually with set of five punch marked symbols on the obverse, many with additional marks on the reverse. Very good - fine. (47)
From a common hoard, all are evenly covered with green copper oxidation, suitable however for conservation and identification.
