QUEENSLAND POLICE, c1884-1906, first issue nickel plated brass helmet plate with soldered on letter/numbers, 'A/245', the original black enamel in the central oval area is mostly missing. Most nickel plating missing, otherwise fine and extremely rare, only three others known.

The letter A indicates Brisbane/Moreton District and the number 245 is the officer's District Number.
