USA, TEN DOLLARS OR EAGLE, 1795, turbaned bust of Liberty right, thirteen leaves, BD-I, die state a/a. Has been mounted and gilt, more than half of the edge milling visible, for wear close to very fine, overall very good and rare as the first US gold eagle issued, a rare opportunity to acquire such a type coin for a budget conscious collector.

Ex W.G.Simcock Estate. William Simcock and his son William George Simcock were butchers in Manchester. This coin has laid undiscovered until now when brought in by the grandson.
